Standard Fit - 14oz. Japanese Selvedge Nep

This 14oz. extra neppy denim has a ton of character. Intentionally woven with uneven weft yarns, the white tangles of fiber show through the indigo dyed front of the fabric, giving a snowy appearance and incredible texture.

We've paired this denim with the classic extra thick gold thread. Solid copper hardware will develop an amazing patina right along with the fabric. We chose an intricately textured 12oz. sashiko fabric for the pocket bags and full back pocket liner. Our signature right rear utility pocket is sewn to the back pocket facing, allowing you to clip on a pen or knife without sacrificing access to the entire back pocket.

Over the years we've found our Standard Fit is perfect for almost everyone. It sits right in the middle between a slim and straight fit. A little extra room in the top block lets you move freely while a slightly tapered leg offers a clean silhouette.

Every garment is designed, cut, and sewn by our hands at the Skinner American Goods workshop using old world techniques and vintage industrial sewing machines we've rescued from shuttered factories.

Each garment is crafted to order in the Skinner studio. Current lead time: ~8 weeks.

Care information

Spot clean when possible. Hand wash or machine wash cold only when necessary, inside out on gentle cycle with light detergent. Hang dry only.

As with all raw denim, expect some indigo transfer until the first few washes.

This is a sanforized fabric so expect minimal shrinkage with the first wash.
