Our most popular Standard Fit jeans, made in an extra slubby Japanese selvedge denim.

At 18oz, this denim is the second heaviest option in our lineup. Intentionally woven with yarns of varying thickness (commonly known as slub), this process gives the fabric incredible texture and an almost waterfall-like appearance. As the denim wears in over time, the thicker yarns will begin to lighten up before the thinner yarns which will yield an incredible faded look.

We've paired this denim with the classic extra thick gold thread. Solid copper hardware will develop an amazing patina right along with the fabric. We chose an intricately textured 12oz. sashiko fabric for the pocket bags and full back pocket liner. Our signature right rear utility pocket is sewn to the back pocket facing, allowing you to clip on a pen or knife without sacrificing access to the entire back pocket.

Over the years we've found our Standard Fit is perfect for almost everyone. It sits right in the middle between a slim and straight fit. A little extra room in the top block lets you move freely while a slightly tapered leg offers a clean silhouette.

Every garment is designed, cut, and sewn by our hands at the Skinner American Goods workshop using old world techniques and vintage industrial sewing machines we've rescued from shuttered factories.
