A modern take on the classic jeans fit, the Standard is our most popular cut. It's the best of both worlds: a little extra room in the hip and thighs gives you room to move while the tapered leg offers a clean silhouette. 

This 14oz. Japanese hemp/cotton blend selvedge denim has quickly become our favorite in the lineup and is shop owner Daniel's current everyday wear. The 60% hemp content makes this denim surprisingly breathable and also means the fabric creases easily; perfect for setting in those crisp fades. Hands down the best feature of this denim is the nep - little speckles of white showing through the indigo. We decided to pair this fabric with tonal thread and black hardware to really let the texture shine through. The intricately textured 12oz. heavyweight sashiko pocket bags and fully lined back pockets comes standard on all our jeans and add a great tactile feel every time you reach into the pockets. Our signature rear utility pocket helps protect your wallet from a knife or a pen if you use the same pocket for both.

Crafted to order in-house by a small team using nearly 15 vintage industrial sewing machines we've rescued over the years.

Care information

Spot clean when possible. Hand wash or machine wash cold only when necessary, inside out on gentle cycle with light detergent. Hang dry only.

This denim is sanforized (pre-shrunk) but still shrinks a good amount in length after the first wash. We recommend adding 1" - 2" to your normal inseam.

As with all raw denim, expect some indigo transfer until the first few washes.
