After the close of the famed Cone Mills White Oak denim mill in 2017, the folks at Vidalia Mills purchased all the looms and started making selvedge denim with them. At 13.5oz, the Vidalia Mills black selvedge denim - woven on those same White Oak looms - is a great year-round option. It's surprisingly soft and comfy right from the first wear. The deep black color isn't washed out or faded; something we often see with black jeans.
The intricately textured 12oz. heavyweight sashiko pocket bags and fully lined back pockets comes standard on all our jeans and add a great tactile feel every time you reach into the pockets. Our signature rear utility pocket helps protect your wallet from a knife or a pen if you use the same pocket for both.
